iPod Woes...

I just got my newly refurbished ipod from the local apple dealer (repaired my iPod). Before I plugged it into my PC I made sure that I deleted everything that had to do with itunes and ipod software, to prevent syncing issues later.

So, I plugged the iPod in but now it keeps saying "Do Not Disconnect." It's been saying that for the past 10 mins. I don't see a load key, or any form of icon (on the computer) telling me anything that has to do with what's going on.

Suggestions? Advice? Please??

I haven't been able to use my iPod for 3 months, so all help will be greatly appreciated.

its charging, when you do want to use it, goto my computer and find its drive icon and select Eject

or install itunes and let it do its stuff then from the menu there select disconnect or whatever it says, not at home pc so i cant recall the menus correctly.

whenever its connected it will say do not disconnect, you can transfer songs to it just eject it when you need to use it
