Ipod warrenty

I bought an ipod off the forums. If something goes wrong can I go to the apple store or rma it using my s/n? or do I need the warrenty paper?

So you're basically telling the OP to say yesterday when asked?

Did you receive the receipt for the iPod when you bought it from the seller from this forum? That's your proof of purchase and warranty paper.

Apple customer service varie rep to rep just like educational discount (ask for student ID). They might ask you to fax in a copy of the receipt for proof of purchase.
