I know it doesn't support Divx, but can this be implemented with a firmware update or something? Can I just drag and drop some of my MPEG2/Quicktime videos and watch em? (most are at 320x200 resolution)

I own one.

A firmware update might be possible.

It's not that hard to convert files using Videora (it's free and it does a batch convert).

How long does it take to encode divx to mp4 or quicktime? I have an Athlon 64 3000. Lets say a 150mb file.

It doesn't take very long. All I remember is that it's faster than realtime on my XP Mobile @2400mhz.

It goes at like 6-7x on my machine.

is there anything else that will do mpeg4 simple profile? xvid and divx are adv simple profile... as far as i understand it, is there a non-adv version so to speak.. or would that still not be enough anyway?
