I haven't sync'd my ipod in about a year (don't really use it TOO much), but today I wanted to add a few mp3's since i'm heading out on a long drive. Long story short, got the new itunes, it asked to update my ipod, I said sure why not.

My friggin ipod screen goes blank and that's it. Nothing. Now i've got a dead 15gb ipod.

15gb! wow that is getting pretty old, you needed a new one anyway
since you do not use it often why not get a 2gb nano, or a 1gb shuffle

blah i suck at updates.

Anyway, I ended up going out last night and got back ~5-6 hours later...guess what? There was actually an image on the ipod screen asking me to connect the data cable...ok, did that, and then I saw a progress bar. Ipod rebooted and bam, everything was working! 🙂

It's odd that it just shut off and didn't respond to anything for the 30+ minutes I was yelling at it.. 😀
