Ipod Touch Recording App

iPhoneOS 3.0 includes an app called Voice Memos. I don't know if it will work for you or not, I haven't had a chance to play with it too much.

The second-generation model does.

i dont think any of the ipod touches ever had a mic. its only the 2nd generation that has a speaker though. you'll need to get the apple earbuds with a mic on it to use the voice memos app. im honestly not sure if any other mic can work with it or not.
