Ipod Touch question

Is there a way to make folders in the video app? I'd like to categorize my tv shows on the touch, but it seems to just dump everything in there.

no, currently there is no way to manage files in the touch or iphone, only through itunes which doesn't allow folders.

If you have the episodes sorted by TV Shows, it should be in separate folders at the bottom of the video list on the Touch. Well at least for me it does. In ITunes, right-click video and select Get Info. Go to the Video tab and change Video kind to TV Shows option. Enter in a Show name. Everything gets sorted nice and neatly.

Is it possible to get the full experience of the touch w/o using itunes? i'd rather not put it on my computer but i've fallen in love with the touch... i wish i could get an iphone, but i refuse to leave verizon

i am in the exact same situation.

i wish i could get an iphone, but i refuse to leave verizon => so i got an itouch. meh. the iphone is very worth it. verizon made dumb move not to carry it, but they're service is too good for me to leave them.


any way yo batch convert in itunes the movie designation into tv designation ala mass info change?

for example all of lost season 3 is in my movie folder. do i have to designate each one by hand as a tv episode? i don't see a mass edit option to make this designation.
