Im wondering if there is a way, or a program perhaps, im not sure that lets you tranfer songs from my ipod to itunes. Some of the music on the pod is not in the library.

1. have hidden folders showing

2. All the music is in the directory \iPod_Control\Music

the one thing that sucks when you go into windows explorer to navigate through the ipod is that you lose the structure of your folders that you may have locally. that kind of annoys me, since music is imported to ipods differently and obviously a folder structure is no longer needed. it makes it harder to wade through 4000+ songs.

anyway, people have recommended ephpod and anapod, both of which i heard good things about but don't have firsthand experience with.

edit: cool trick, goosemaster ;) i'd just have gone to the explorer and did it all from there.

it's not meant for that. I simply meant that for importing the songs point itunes to that that directory. If anything, navigating using explorer is practically impossible.
