iPod question - do you use the remove hardware wizard before taking it out of the cradle?

When I put my iPod in it's cradle the little green arrow in the system tray comes up to safely remove hardware. you guys get the same thing?

you don't need to use it to remove because you can safely "eject" it with musicmatch, itunes, or whatever else you use.

Is music match good for the ipod?

why? when itunes is made for it...

IMO, the itunes is a giant PITA..... I HATE the way it messes up my music and the way i have to load the music.

I think if you don't mount it as a Firewire drive, you don't have to eject it. It's that way on the Mac at least.

i only see "eject disc" in controls. is there supposed to be an "eject iPod" option?

when you have your ipod connected it says "eject "so and so's" ipod"
instead of disk

Music match is the aboslute worst program ever designed for a PC, In my opinion of course..Oh wait, forgot about real player. Ok, Music Match is the second worst problem ever designed for the PC

iTunes won't mess up your music if you tell it when you install that you don't want it to organize your music automaticly.
