iPod Problem

Everything worked fine Friday. I hooked it up to the PC last night to charge it and this morning copied over the new podcasts that downloaded. I just noticed at work that when I left it on pause for awhile it didn't turn off like it normally does so I tried to force it to turn off and it doesn't respond. The play/pause button works fine as far as playback is concerned but I cannot get it to power on/off the unit.

Any ideas?

5G 60gb updated to 1.1.1 firmware. (Yes, I know there is newer firmware but this should not be related.)

is the screen white? if so it could indicate the WSOD (white screen of death). have you tried conneting it to your computer or resesting it? let the battery run out and it sould be fine. try the latest firmware.

I found that by doing a reset it fixed the problem. Not sure why it happened but as long as it's working I'm okay with it. Thanks guys (other than the 'throw it on the ground' tipster 😛)
