iTrip sucks, I returned it a few days after getting it because it didn't work well at all.

I don't care about any of the extra/new features that might come out in a new ipod except the storage size. So what do you guys think I should do? I don't want to wait a year for an 80GB one, but I wouldn't mind waiting a couple of months. If I where to buy a 60GB now and an 80GB came out in a year I wouldn't care, but if an 80GB comes out a month or two after I buy a 60GB I won't be real happy.

Get an Archos. I have a 40 gb IPOD, a Gateway player, an E.Digital and an Archos mini. Like the Archos best. It is small, cute, works fine and looks like a hard drive on my system. After you load new music, you just push a button and it syncs. I like to change my loads and this is the best for that. Dell sux as does Creative Zen.

wait... battery life is crap...

Plus the whole you must use itunes 6.0 and up sucks... None of the school computers has it. Plus they have admin passwords so blah...

Also what sucks is that everything on my ipod got erased, so I had to reload everything.

The problem is the storage size is way to small in the archos mini. I want at least 60GB.

Admittedly, it is only 20 gig. That is OK for me because I could never get my whole collection on one drive anyway so I swap out music several times a year or month. I also keep different music on different devices. We have been collecting CD's since they cost $25.00 each or more. In the last couple of years, we have ripped hundreds of gigs of them to include some old vinyl that we collected in the sixties. I almost filled the Archos up with just Christmas music. Beautiful player though.

Yeah I'm no where near that much music. I guess since I'm so close to being able to have my whole collection in one spot, that's what I'd really like to see happen. But of course waiting over a year to get 80GB+ isn't worth it.
