iPod Nano

So, has anyone picked up an iPod Nano yet? I have just put my mini on eBay so I can purchase a nano. They look so sweet. Anyone had any problems with them yet? I am a stickler for new tech, especially tech that's small and sleek 😛.

Yep, just bought a 4GB Black one today. It rocks!

One thing I noticed right away is that music transfer to the Nano is MUCH faster than my old Mini. And the color screen is awesome.

My only complaint is that fingerprints and the like show up too easily, especially on the chrome back. Ah well. Can't be perfect!

Cool! I went to Best Buy today, they were all sold out already 🙁. Ohh well, I think I will just order one directly from the Apple website and get my initials engraved on the back. I'm happy to hear I'm not waisting my money on a new one then 😛. I like new toys haha.

Ok, this is ****ing it! I can't take it!
I am going to go find somebody who resurrect Gurck!
😛

Make sure to get the 4GB one--it's the cheapest flash player out there for the space.

I got a 4gb white one from BB. Its the best peice of portable hardware EVER! I love it, build quality is superior to all other products, and sound quality is EXCELLANT. I highly recommend it!

Overall, that kind of drop test is why solid-state players really can't be compared directly to HDD-based ones. A lot of writers don't seem to get that if you want or need a solid-state player, they could make 400GB HDD players, and it still would not be comparable to a 1GB flash player. Most won't survive that kind of abuse, but in actual use, you're never going to stress it like that (~6ft drops, and being stepped on, FI, will be common for mine 🙂). Even the 20mph drop is extreme, really.

A HDD-based player, though, would have permanent damage done to it, possibly resulting in unrecoverable data.

LOL, I am sure she will take it easy when you start hammering sweet nano and will be just fine when you drive over it a few times...

My cube neighbor got one and showed it to me. I wasn't planning on buying one at first but after seeing it in person I am seriously thinking about it.
