Will using Anapod somehow affect the new Ipod Nano?

I tried syncing to my pal's new Ipod Nano and it said no songs afterwards.

I tried to sync it up with Anapod and not the songs will not show on the screen. Is this normal?

I just did the same thing, and it also did the same thing to mine. Use iTunes to restore your original settings. That is what I am going to do.
