iPod Mini

I'm in the market for a small MP3 player, such as an iPod Mini, but I was wondering what the alternatives are to the Mini. I don't need much space, 4 or 6GB sounds like enough for me.

Go with the Ipod. I like the Mini, no need for more than 4gigs for me, I honestly use more like 2-3gigs myself, but I keep adding on. The silver one is the only good looking one...

the F10 is a little big physically comparing it to the mini, I would consider it in the regular iPod class.

The mini is more stylish and cheaper than these 🙁

Allow me to translate this for everyone. The OP is going to get an iPod Mini, thread over.

Pretty much.

I got a free 1g mini. It's passable at best, but I wouldn't buy one. If you don't like itunes, try ephpod - works well for me and is easy to use. Keep in mind, the only way to charge the 2g mini without puchasing stuff separately is via USB, which doesn't carry much juice. While the original 1gs came with firewire adapters (firewire carries plenty of juice) and an AC adapter, the 2g comes with neither.

A 1GB mini? 😕

First generation, as opposed to second. Listing of the differences is here. Actually it seems I misread that and am mistaken; the 2gs come with a dock which has an AC adapter, so you're not screwed on charging the thing.
