damn it, got it when it first came out... broke for the 3rd fvckin time. won't keep charge, drains it in less than 30 minutes. first two were covered under warranty, now no more warranty. piece of sh!t.

you can replace the battery yourself. BUT first I would suggest charging it to full. Unplugging it for a minute, then plugging it back in to charge to full again. Surprisingly I bet it'll take more than 20 mins to return to full charge. Do this about 3 times.

The battery indicator sucks on the iPods, the software will think it's at full charge and won't charge anymore.

I've had mine since they first came out as well. I've dropped it on hard linoleum several times. Still works like a champ. No problems with charging either.

funny thing is I agree almost 100% with you. I think the ipod itself is cool as well as their laptops but the rediculous prices they charge for them blows.
