From what I remember it's provided by MNBA (sp?). Might want to wait for one of the credit savvy members to read this (Rossman?).

You'll probably be declined.

I would suggest a co-signer like a parent, brothers/sister, girlfriend, neighbor, co-worker, etc.

I don't want to sound too much of a jerk, but if you need to get an Apple credit card to purchase an iPod you may seriously want to reconsider your financial situation. Take it from somebody who racked up ~$20k of debt while in college; been there done that.

Sorry, wasn't clear. No I managed to get ~$20k in credit cards. Granted much of it did occur because of books and other incidental school supplies but most of it came from the typical stupid ass college behaviour. Luckily I "only" had to get ~$15k in student loans, so make that a total of $35k in total debt incurred while in college.

Ouch, man paying interest on that much suck, either way glad you are still around (no missing kidneys) I owe a few grand to Discover but i always thought that those " I owed $20K in CC bills after college" stories were fabrications.

I forgot how much I actually charged; it was somewhere in the ballpark of $15k and the other $5k came from finance and other fees. What I did, though, was to actually call MBNA up and explain to them my financial situation. They hooked me up with a deal where I have 2% APR (which beats the 18% I had prior) and I have to pay $400 a month and can not miss a payment. So they actually worked with me and it is not that big of a deal. As of right now, I am still in the process of paying it off.

I was irresponsible and screwed up so I owe it to myself and the creditors to pay back my mistake and the best thing to do (in my experience) is to simply call the credit card company and work out some sort of payment deal.

I'm paying for it now, but at the time the two weeks in Europe, the three trips to New Orleans, a few times to Vegas, few times to the west coast and other trips here and there was pretty fun!
