Ipod issues?

I have the new 160gb ipod. I have kept the firmware up to date and the songs are just fine on it. When I play it through headphones on some songs/albums it starts playing the song and then skips to the next song. When I play through the computer or even copy the song off the ipod it plays fine. What gives?
 
Every now and again on my old 4GB nano it did the same thing, but I have never noticed it on my 30GB Video. Is it always the same song?
 
yeah the same song but on different albums. its not like omg im so upset it skips its just annoying and it didnt do it until apple started Fin with the firmware.
 
That is a weird one. I too noticed that it was almost always the same songs, but I have never noticed it on my 30GB, so I am not sure what to tell you. As much as you may hate to do it due to the possible size of your library... but a restore might fix the issue.
 
Is that all I can do because that is a big pain in the ass. To copy all the songs off and then copy them back. I have about 70gb free on there.
