ipod help

Ok so today i slipped down the hill in my backyard...ut been rain like no other. While i slipped my ipod was in my pocket and it got wet. some how water got under my click wheel and now it turns on but i cant contrl it. the buttons dont work. is there anyway to replace the click wheel??

Yea, no ****, it was a joke. Check ebay for parts and do a search on www.google.com on taking apart the iPod if you are not willing to talk to Apple.

well no it jus happend 2 hours ago i havent had time to call anyone yet i was jus wondering if it possible to switch parts

Leave it alone and let it dry out for a couple of hours. Sometimes wet electronic equipment will come "back to life" after you let it dry out.

Have you tried the rice trick? When a piece of electronics (cell phone, ipod, etc) gets wet, stick it in the middle of a bag of long grain white rice. The rice will absorb pretty much all of the moisture and you should be good to go.

Otherwise, yeah, you should have bought a Dell. One website saw claims the Dell Jukebox can survive a 10 foot fall to concrete and 5 seconds underwater.

Rain... right... It wasn't that you were hitting the pipe a little too much, that made you fall.

Leave it alone for 5 days or so. My brother dropped his iPod in the tub once, and after 5 days it came back alive.

well yea sorry about the typing im so used to IMing that i started to type like that on here...my bad. Well its warming just fine execpt if i let it sit for 2 min w/o touching it, it locks up. im going tonite back to curcit city to see if i can replace it. it has a 1 year warrenty so well will see what happens. thanc for the help.

take it back. if that doesnt work take it apart.

ok if they wont take it back ill just keep it and live with it frezzeing up. yea yes u do plan to take much better care of it.
