so whats the big deal? it looks like a decent environment to work in. better than sweatshops in America, thats for sure

There's no "big deal", really.

It is, however, interesting to note (I just noticed this), that every two workstations is equipped with both an eMac, and a Dell Optiplex minitower (actually, they could also be Precisions, since we only see the back, but that's unlikely enough to discount), presumably for testing - but what the hell is the point of testing on both a PC and a Mac?

Anybody shocked or talking bad about those pics has obviously never worked in a factory before. 🙂

I'd do it. At least they get to sit.

Building consumer products is not a prestigious job.

halik, it probably is an assembly line.

Notice the supervisor in the first pic.. lol. Someone was either amazingly sneaky, or they allowed the pics.. because yeah, at least with Intel.. even having your cell with a camera on the factory floor can be instant termination. :Q

why do they have 15 year old boys building them?
If you look closer, you will notice that most of them are women.

Women have better hand-eye coordination than men, better when working with small parts or doing tedious tasks. You would be surprised at how many women work in assembly factories.
