Ipod connection in car

Hi everyone,

I have a 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited and a stock 6 CD dual din system atm. I want to use an ipod though and the fm transmitters just have bad reception. Can anyone recommend a good ipod connection kit. I was thinking about going for a new dash system altogether but dont want to give up my steering wheel controls.

If your vehicle has an Aux-In port somewhere it's a very simple and easy way to get it to play. It can be on the dash, in the glove compartment, sometimes even in the trunk. Find a male-to-male cable for it at just about any electronics store and plug it in. I'd guess you then need to change the 'source' device in the stereo to Aux (or something) but then you're good to go.

I'd check your manual to see if you have one first.

Also if that doesn't work for some reason, there are mods you can do to FM transmitters to boost their output and increase their signal manyfold. You just need to be handy with a soldering iron.
