As usual, all of these class settlements are a joke. The consumer never really gets compensated for anything.

Yeah, it's pretty lame, especially considering the $99 cost of replacing the battery. I say they should send out new ones to those who have bad ones free of charge, but I'm not the govt.

And as always you have to provide a receipt. Come on, how many people save their receipts, especially after it's been four years since introduction of an iPod? Also they want to exclude ebay buyers, what's up with that, iPod is an iPod, even if purchased from ebay. Suckers (->apple)...
