i have a mini ipod and am just wondering if it is bad to recharge the battery when it hasn't been fully used up? i remember ppl always said that with rechargeables, you should always use it up, then recharge?

thanks.

No it's fine, they are lithium ion batteries and don't have the memory problem

Its probably a good idea to charge as much as possible given ipod's notorious short batterly life.

I think that was supposedly fixed in the 2nd gen ipod mini... but it's not out long enough yet for that to be proved

4th gen ipods have 10-12 hours of battery life depending on usage (bitrate of mp3, volume, backlight, equilizer settings)

all other ipods are 7 hours tops

2nd gen minis are also 10-12 hrs

1st gen are 7 hrs as well
