I am thinking about getting an iPod, I know that there will be nullsoftware out soon to connect the iPod with PCs, but will the Firewire port in the Audigy work? Will it be able to charge the iPod?
 
The ipod is designed to only use iTunes right? If so even if you can plug it into a pc firewire port wouldn't you still be stuck without software until they release it right?

I'd just wait until that software is out, and tested, then maybe get an iPod, but either way I don't see why the one on the creative card wouldn't work.
 
I went the new apple store in san jose and the guy there said whoever makes the software that allows PCs to see Mac disks will be making the software. I guess that's nullsoftware you're refering too?

I'm really interested in getting an iPod but like you I don't have a Mac. Damn Jobs, why don't you just make it compatible for PC, apple will be rich!
