iPod 6G click wheel?

I just purchased a 160gb ipod on Craigslist for $40. It appears to have been run over at some point, possibly by something with studded tires. The screen is A-OK and the "hold" and power switches work, and it appears to be working just fine save for the click wheel. I've found 5G click wheels for as little as $10 on eBay- can anyone help me find one for a later model iPod?

Would one of the "5g iPod click wheels" sold on eBay work as well? They're $25 cheaper.

I don't know for sure, but I doubt it. If it did, then ifixit would be selling the same wheel for the 5G as the 6G; and they aren't.
