This is SUCH a tease. Thanks for those who are actually able to take advantage of the deal, I suppose 🙁

Just place another order with the city if industry store. Wonder if I'm going to get it this time, or are they going to screw me over again.

They have good prices on the other older ipods as well

15 gb for $180
20 gb for $220

10 and 15 gb in stock in Madison, WI.

I can get it on this deal, but it seems pretty ok deal... the 20g is 210$... they're just getting rid of the older generations

Just picked up the last one in MA.... Framingham had 1 left in stock.

mrwabam: I'm curious when you actually bought it and picked it up. I bought one online with pickup in Framingham well before your post and went in today right when the Framingham store opened. The manager claimed that the one shown in stock was actually a return and they haven't had or sold ANY in a long time.

Sounds like something bogus going on here.

definetly there is something going on here, since I called a lot of Comp Usa's and they are claiming that the ones they have are defective and remanufacture and all this bs, but they still show the ipods on stock.

Same here. I ordered the last two available in So Cal but was told they were customer returns. A very helpful business sales dude went back and got one that worked but was thrashed cosmetically. The general manager (very nice (and good looking) young lady) offered to sell me any of the ones available at cost for my trouble. So, the bad news is that this was probably semi-bogus to begin with but can't complain about my store's (which hands down is the best in So Cal) handling of the matter.

there's nothing necessarily bogus, they are just trying to move stock. they should probably note that on their website however.

HAhahahaha. Yep. Sounds like the Framingham store. That's about all I'm going to say about that one. 😛 LOL.

I don't know if this is a good deal or a COMPUSA error, but 10 GBs for $130 sounds like a good deal for me.

You can get a 30gb Zen Xtra for $179.99 which has better sound quality (IMO), better battery life, just as easy interface to use (with scroll wheel), many useful sound/playlist/more features.

i've owned that one and it's got nothing on ipod. Its HUGE and the interface is just aweful.

omg omg omg.

I found one at the compUSA here in rochester NY. Their site said no stock, yet they had one sitting in their display 🙂 (although it was a floor model). It didnt come with headphones or manuals, but I dont mind because i'm getting a pair of Sharp earplugs. Also it's a little beat up (just some scratches, no dents or cracks), but nothing a little polish cant take care of 🙂 !!!!! thanks OP!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH

edit*
To those who tried to order online... just go in person and ask for it. It rang up as $130 on the register, so you DONT have to do the "online order/instore pickup" I just walked in, asked for it, and got it!
