Can you guys chime in and tell me what you are currently using and how the build construction is on your case? Please provide URL's!

Thanks,

edit - I'm considering the brand "Speck" any comments on that?

Can you comment on, say you put the phone in your pocket, what is the traction like when you try pulling out the phone?

Rocketfish soft shell case in black... Fit is perfect, and buttons are easy to press. I already slammed my phone screen first on concrete and it doesn't have a scratch. :D

I had a Speck Pixelskin HD on my iPhone 4 and was going to order that for my 5, but I didn't like the bottom cutouts.

It doesn't grip or stick when I take it out of my pocket. It's TPU with a very fine matte texture, not sticky silicone.

Got the Poetic Atmosphere, it's a hardshell plastic back/sides with rubber chamferred (sp?) edges. It's works pretty well. No sticking to pocket but one thing to note is that the case is hard to put on the phone initially (and it's hard to take off).

I'll probably pick up a thinner Otterbox in the coming weeks (commuter or prefix). They make pretty nice stuff, are a local company, and are starting to bring some of there manufacturing back to the US.

I use a silicone case from Verizon. I also picked up one from Monoprice, but I didn't like it as much. The Verizon one is a bit annoying in that the bottom of the case is a bit loose so it feels more like a flap. I like the fact that it covers up just about as much as you can. I don't like cases that just leave huge gaps at the side for the mute switch and volume buttons.

I guess I've never really been a fan of sleeves. They don't really protect it from drops while you're using the phone as it's not in the sleeve.

I received my two "free" cases from ZooGue the other day. I say "free" because I had to pay for shipping, but $5 isn't bad. :p I like that they're harder than the one I got from Verizon, but I was almost worried that its hardness + inability to bend would end up scratching my phone when putting it on! I've been a bit paranoid about it since I found how much a pristine phone can be worth compared to one with some scratches, but it didn't hurt the phone at all.

I really like "bumper" type cases. Got a SGP Neo Hybrid EX in silver:

IMHO, looks good on the phone and protects the screen and camera when the phone is placed on a surface. Protects from corner impacts too. Build quality is pretty good. It's actually two pieces. A white silicone pieces that goes around the iPhone then the silver frame that goes over the silicone piece.

I have 2 cases :

Incipio Feather :

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0098FKJ0Y...4Z9NEPCYHSN59&

I like this one the most, it's minimalistic for sure, and still very grippy. I have incipio's ipad case, and mba case and I just love the feel.

I heard the commuter kind of sucks for the iPhone5, not sure why but you can read reviews here on Amazon :

I just bought an otterbox defender :

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00974L60S...54TKTRTDVH4X1&

I like it alot, when I bought it I was going to cut out the cover protector, but then when I put it together, it actually doesn't even feel/look like it's there, so I left it.
