iPhone + Rogers?

On November 1, 2010, I signed a new contract with Rogers with the iPhone 4, and they said they don't have it in stock, but as soon as they get one they will call me as I am the main priority since I just signed a contract. They said they would have it in by within 4-5 days. It is November 10 now, and still no call from them. Is it normal for a carrier to take this long to receive phones?

tl;dr: Rogers after 10 days still have not gotten any iPhone 4 in stock to give with my contract.
 
That sucks. Did you do it in a store or over the phone or over the net? That'd be unacceptable to me. You better make them compensate you for the time.

You signed a contract without a phone?!?!
 
you might still be in the "grace period". i'd cancel service and sign up again when you can get the phone in hand.
 
I most def went into the store and did everything there. Only reason I did not get the phone was because they had it out of stock, and signed the contract because they did not offer this plan after the 4th of November, so I signed it so I could take the plan.
