iPhone Remote no longer works.

I seem to be suffering the same symptoms:

http://discussions.apple.com/t...dID=1597146&tstart=120

I can pair my iPhone Remote app just fine with iTunes, and iTunes says the remote will work with it. However, the app never can find the iTunes library.

It was working fine this morning, and now suddenly it doesn't. I can't figure it out.

I even tried reinstalling the OS X 10.5.4 update on my Mac, and I reinstalled iTunes 7.7. No luck. :|

I tried the solutions in that thread, but none of it works.

So it used to work?

That's really odd, mine has always just found it without issue. Is your library on an external drive?

Mine is on my internal drive on my iMac.

Yeah, it worked before, and now it doesn't. 🙁

Sorry for the thread bump but i'm experiencing a similar problem. I'm using the remote app to play itunes on my pc thru the ipad/iphone and it connects ok, i see all the albums i have. I can even see each cd's contents. However when i click on a song to play, it says "the library can't be found on this network". And when i go to my playlists, the songs play ok. So now i'm lost as to what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.
