iPhone owners, do you unintentionally hang up during calls frequently?

Hmm I have a 1st Gen iPhone and I have never had that happen, except when either myself or the other person temporarily lost signal, which was just once. Then again, I don't talk on my phone all that much, using around 100 minutes out of 450 a month.

It could be the way she is handling the phone. the hang-up button is a huge button that spans almost the entire bottom of the screen. If the accelerometers detect movement on the handset it will light up the screen, which then could cause her moving her fingers to cause it to activate the disconnect button????? Have her call you while you are in front of her and watch how she handles the phone.

I usually lock mine while talking on the headset. I have however hit the end button by accident a few times.

I have a 3g iPhone and this hasn't happened to me.

What are you saying to her when she hangs up? S'up bitch?

I've never done this but I do drop calls pretty much ever single time I use it because it sucks major ass at passing a call off between 3G and EDGE networks.

I love my iphone but hate the phone part of it.

I have gotten a couple failed calls. maybe this is happening to her. I heard it is something to do with att's 3g network.

My GF hits the hang up button on her (first generation) iPhone all the time, when she's driving or getting into her car and is moving the phone.

she says her finger hits the end call button on the touch screen, which is obvious.
just didn't think it would be that easy to do, and figured if it were that easy for her, it should be happening to others too.

I don't hold the phone in a way where my fingers can touch the screen. My thumb touches the right side, my index finger the top, and the other three fingers the right side.

There have been tons of reported reception issues with the new iPhone 3G. Apple's reportedly working on a software fix but I'm not getting my hopes up.

After the latest retarded 2.02 update that brought new problems than fixed anything, I've been getting poorer reception, and more stupid calls that just get dropped for no goddamn reason.
