iPhone Network Speed

On my iPhone 3G here in Sarasota, FL on the same site I get;


Edge: 142 kbps
3G: 818 kbps
Wifi: 3141 kbps
 
He only had 3 out of 5 bars.

For EDGE on T-Mobile, when I have full reception I usually get more like 140kbps @ 600ms latency. On a good day, I get closer to 180kbps and the latency is ~400ms and it's actually fairly usable.
