IPhone light fails.

It won't turn on with any program. It will however turn on when using the camera. Wtf? So it obviously isn't hardware. 🙁

Yeah, too bad that shit doesn't exist, guys.

Google fucking sucks ass at looking through this. People are just bitching about the backlight going out.

What iOS version? Did you restore from an ancient backup? Perhaps, one that was made from a different model iPhone?

iPhone 4. 4.3.5 version. It's using an old backup but same phone type. I don't think I had this issue until I updated. It's using an old backup from when it was jailbroken though. (Thus, I can still see DB numbers for signal strength) It wasn't jailbroken to update. It was jailbroken backup to new iPhone 4. (Old one had vibration motor break) the light worked for a while. I think it stopped when I updated one time.

Pull the battery and let the phone reset? Oh wait... 😉

Try rebooting it.

Already did a reboot. No worky. I can't remember what happens if you restore to factory and then restore from a backup. (I don't remember what information it doesn't save)

Did a hard reset. I restored to factory settings. I did it without doing the backup to see if it was something in my backup. I did it with the backup... Both times, same issue.

Me thinks iPhone is keeping some form of information still.

I don't get how this isn't working. Only the flash works in the camera app. It makes no sense... Hopefully iPhone software updates and fixes itself. I want to revert back to something like 4.3
