I've seen videos of people successfully demonstrating video editing by using Android tablet/laptop devices with splashtop to connect to their home PC to run their video editing software remotely at 30fps using 4 mbps connection. the most recent video I saw of this was using some Asus Transformer device from 5 years ago.

so I would think the same would be possible with a 2017 ipad with splashtop and a keyboard/mouse.

So, I'm wondering, with an iphone 7 plus, a keyboard and mouse, a tv/monitor or something like a portable 12" panel, plus splashtop, would it be possible to connect to your home PC via splashtop and use the video editing setup remotely? or more simply, shouldn't it be possible on a 12" macbook or 13" macbook air?
