My understanding is the Ovi Map on Nokia is actually quite good, but since they are giving up Symbian and going with WP7 that may be a moot point.
I downloaded and used the Mapquest app this past weekend and it was actually really good with voice spoken turn by turn directions. it's free too.
I'll have to give that a try. I've been trying to use Navigon and it's been nothing but fail here in Washington DC. Maps will pin down my location fast enough, but when I go launch Navigon to get turn by turn directions it can never locate me.
I miss Google Nav.
I'm right outside of dc and it worked fine going from rockville to arlington. ip4 on verizon here, if that makes any difference.

Sounds like a signal or device problem as I've used Navigon for a while and it's been a HUGE help and surprisingly accurate given the phone's limitations.
Yeah, I've been using the free Mapquest for navigation for a while. It works really well and don't see a need to pay for one of the other nav apps.
