So, after being a bit bummed yesterday about being unable to transfer saves across my devices, I thought I'd do a little digging to find out if anyone has a solution for all of this. I found a thread where someone talked about manually grabbing the save files using a program called iPhone Explorer...

Has anyone used this before? I'm always a bit skeptical to use software like this. It seems they have other pieces of software for accessing iOS devices as well.

Any thoughts?
 
This one supposedly doesn't need the iOS device to be jailbroken though. That's the biggest thing, as there's no way that I can put the files on my iPad 2 since there isn't a JB for iOS 4.3 yet.
 
i don't think iphone browser does either, but i could be mistaken

i THINK when i used it i just browsed the phone, but then again it wasn't user friendly and it was a while ago
 
I just tried the software and it doesn't work at all. I see folders like "com.gameloft.castleofmagic" but whenever I click on them, I get an error saying the folder does not exist.
