If that's really was the intention, the thread title would have been something similar to "I love getting paid doing nothing" and contents would have been "Kicking back on my comfy chair, getting paid doing nothing, this is so easy"... You know, without the iPhone part.

Look at it like this "BMWs crew check in", then "I love eating this pie, so good!"

I got the dlo skin and it comes with 3 screen protector. I like it because the whole phone is protected and you still have access to sync and charging plug compare to some where you have to remove the case to charge your phone. Definitely worth the $20 at best buy.

First thing you should do is get the pandora radio & yellow page mobile app. Movies & wikipedia app is next on the list. All are free of course. Yellow page mobile is the greatest.

i love the iphone, but my HTC Touch on Sprint SERO costs me $100 and gives me unlimited text, unlimited data, free GPS, and free internet tethering for $30 a month.

i agree that the iphone is the easiest phone to use, but for a poor grad student like myself, you can't beat saving hundreds per year with more features (internet tethering being the most important)

I have the exact same plan and phone - what do you use for tethering?

I'm sitting here at my desk posting from my work computer. Me>your iPhone. Congrats on the whole "internet on the cellphone" thing the rest of the US has had on smartphones for 5+ years.

So does my Blackberry Curve 8330. Point?
You hater's can bash all you want, but there is NOTHING like having REAL interwebs with you all the time.

Welcome to the 21st century. I had this on my Motorola Q I got 3 years ago (and my step-dad had it on his Palm Treo 4+ years ago). Once again what is your point?
I have used every operating system for every phone, and not ONE of them even comes CLOSE to what the iPhone can do.

Oh? Let me know when you get a MMS message with a picture in it. Oh and Apple had to release a version 2 to be able to actually do what Blackberry has for years.

I do not miss constantly scrolling on my Windows Mobile or Symbian device, and I don't miss having to go to Anandtech's mobile site because forums don't render properly in those browsers.

Nor do I, but Opera mini or the Blackberry browser on my Curve have both been able to correctly render AT's mobile site. Congrats on being able to do everything a Blackberry/Treo has been able to do for a while now.

it's all the elitist of the computing world that hates the phone. You know all the ones who doesn't use window but rather Linux, create websites/HTML with their notepad, and uses nokia e70 (someone is going to post that link pretty soon)

I use Windows XP Pro SP 2 at home, and work is also Windows XP. I do create simple HTML in notepad for the simple fact that other programs add scripts (and formatting). It's much easier to create small HTML pages in notepad, not full websites, but simple pages are for sure. I actually use the Blackberry Curve 8330, and haven't used a Nokia for years.

You want all your "reps for iPhone", go to the Apple sub-forum and stop acting like a typical Apple idiot who thinks they are "better" because they have an Apple product. With the exception of the iPod (which the earlier generations were much better. I had a gen 3 and just got the 160 gb one. Gen 3>current other then HD size.) and their desktops for media creation work (which PC's are now very close to Mac's in this area as well), Apple products are way too hyped.

You could say the same thing about smartphones. Actually. Intarweb on anything less than 2048*1536 = fail.

At $199 and $30/month the iPhone is priced competitively to other smartphone devices that run Windows. It's not a terrible deal.

so how many of you have used your iPhone to call a chick that was not a relative.

Bonus points if the call wasn't to pick you up from your LAN party.

I got my 8830 for free after $70 MiR. Oh and I pay the same per month with unlimited everything except voice (which I haven't gotten close to my limit once).
