iPhone clock still broken :D

My phone won't update its time either. It should be 8:03 CST but it's still stuck at 7:03 😱. I'll try shutting it down and seeing if that does the trick.

EDIT:

Turning it off and on again made it resync the time. I'm wondering if putting it into airplane mode or something similar would've worked as well.

I've been having trouble with the time syncs ever since upgrading to 4.2.1. Only a full power down reboot makes it resync it seems. When I just respring it doesn't sync the clock. It's weird because on 4.1 my phone immediately switched when crossing a time zone, which I do relatively often as I'm ~45 mins from crossing central time. Now it won't change until it fully recycles. Now I try not to apple bash too much anymore, but it really seems like they cause just as many issues as they fix with these firmware releases anymore. It's getting damn annoying.

airplane mode did the trick.

Although Sunday morning, time did correctly adjust by an hour but then later it went back to standard time.

I was suspecting it was going to be broken this morning, again. And sure enough it did. So I added a timer as a precautionary measure. Unfortunately the timer doesn't come with a snooze function 🙁

Apple, remember to fix command + X on macs too 😀

Out of curiosity, what iOS version are you running and did it work properly?

I'm still on 4.2.1 and mine did not work.

EDIT:

Also, my phone had been on for a few weeks or more before it needed to update.

I guess I really lucked out. Decided to upgrade to 4.3 last night which includes a reboot of the phone, I guess that kept my phone sync'd correctly.
