iPhone 4S for Sprint/ TMobile in Sept?

Nope again. A5 = PowerVR GPU, Exynos = Mali

We've already covered that CPUs and GPUs are different, they could package Mali or the PVR package with it if they wished.

Meh, I already admitted my error with the OMAP status of the A5. Its not often that I'm wrong, savor it. 😛

All I want is the A5, AWS support and a slightly larger screen (with 300+ ppi).

If this iPhone 4S has those, I will snap it up on day one.

The problem is that an SoC is way more than CPU & GPU, and almost ALL designs are ARM based with little to no difference.

For example, the OMAP 4xxx, much more than just a CPU & GPU:

Back on topic, we all know Apple needs more pentration in the US. They've gotten stagnant with their iPhone growth with how fast Android and WP7 are rising. Releasing a phone on every carrier is something they need to do plus release a cheaper phone since they make more money indirectly than directly selling the phone because of the ecosystem. They keep the 3GS on the market as the low-end then the 4 as the mid then the "4S" as the high end, it`ll be better for them to have as many options as possible.

im excited
ive been looking at sprint or tmobile
except att has amazing coverage and speed here in seattle though....hmm but unlimited data for the whole family would be nice

I'm planning on a evo 3d,but if this were to happen, I would reconsider.

A pc guy at heart, but this posted from my iPad...

I'm on Sprint and I'd consider it, but it'd be really, really hard to get it if it doesn't have WiMax support when it's sitting next to a EVO 3D or Galaxy S 2 that does.
