Okay, iOS v4.1 is out and it includes FieldTest Mode as well as changes to the baseband and other software. On top of that, the free case giveaway is ending and and reports from other countries say the iPhone 4 is in a league of its own.

I think it’s time to see how the iPhone 4 stacks up to other phones in...

1) Real world use across a variety of environments.

2) What UMTS frequency bands are causing the biggest issue for the iPhone 4’s reception.

3) comparing any changes between software updates in the iPhone 4’s baseband and OS that could be affecting the way the device handles RF interrupts.
