Have OD pricematch their 649 price to Bestbuy's $569 price.
Use the $100 off $500 purchase that is flying around.
Send in the two $50 rebates for the 3955 and you should have it for $369 or under, depending on if they give you the %110 pricematch or not.

Yup the 3955 has the best looking screen at the moment. The lack of a CF slot and wifi is the only thing holding me back from getting this over the Toshiba e740.

i got in on the ipaq 3835 deal posted here, and it plays mp3's pretty well. It even has a headphone jack that lets you plug in and listen...

Just checked the weekly ad for Best Buy. The 3955 is $599, after a $50 MIR, which most places won't match. Am I missing something?

Aiit, so I just got in on the deal. Price after pricematch and coupon came out to be $498.19, so there is supposed to be 2 $50 rebates -> total should be $398.19.

Can't wait, this bad boy is supposed to have a pimp screen.

There's a link to the $50 rebate on OD product page. Rebate says it can be combined with Summer 2002 Pocket PC 3835 Rebate. So I'm not sure that the second one can be applied to the 3955.

there's only ONE rebate for teh 3955. the only ipaq w/ 2rebates is the 3835

One thing to keep in mind, the holidays are fast approaching. And with that, more price drops and rebates that will work, without these PM then coupons which sometimes work and other times don't work.

But I have heard Dell is coming out with a PDA soon, that will be $299. I don't know anything about it, but it will be running Pocket PC 2002. I am currently in the market for a PDA too and can't wait to see the details on Dells (anyone have any more info??). Depending on that, I'm sure HP will put out more rebates or lower prices on the ipaq's.

I think the $299 PDA that you are thinking about might be the one that ViewSonic and Microsquish are working on together. Well really not a joint effort...but it will run on PPC2002 and will sport a 300MHz X-Scale processor.
