iPad Apps Thread

I just received the iPad I ordered. It's my first iOS device and so far it's pretty cool. However, the app store is a little daunting for someone who has never used it before to try and dive in and find all of the really fun games, useful apps, and cool stuff. What I was surprised to see(or in this case not see) was the lack of an iPad apps thread in this forum(yes I searched) so I'm making one.

Share the apps and games that you guys feel are must haves, talk about why they are so good, share new killer app discoveries, talk about updates, apps that are coming soon to watch out for etc..

Don't omit obvious stuff that everyone should know to install either because some people(me) probably don't know what those are 😛
 
Flipbook was all the rage two weeks ago, especially if you use Facebook/Twitter.

Probably the most used app (other than Safari) for me right now is Shredder, a chess game.

Some useful/fun apps to work on photos:
Photogene, Diptic, Camera+, ColorSplash

Reeder is my favourite RSS reader but I also have Times and Pulse.

Pages and Numbers are quite solid. I use Numbers a lot.

Soulver is a fun little back of the envelope calculation thing, and Calcbot is my calculator of choice.

Dropbox and GoodReader round out the work day with file management.
