I've been searching for a good, cheap p35 mobo for a couple days. I've had great luck with my other ip35e, so I went ahead and bit on this even though it's open box.

Bought open box motherboards from Newegg in the past. One time I got the full box with basically all the accessories. Another time I got a white box with plain board, nothing else, not even the back plate. So it's a hit and miss with these open boxes.

Is these ever come back in stock, check Abits website... I've found random accessories there for many of their mobos.

Check ebay as well, I've seen i/o plates there for a few bucks.

well, I don't use any of the accessories for my ip35 pro and ip35 e so I think I'm safe

I've bought several open box mobos from Newegg in the past, only got one without the backplate. I did get 3 DOA though.

Newegg open box isn't what it used to be. I bought a D201GLY2 open box, and it was packed very poorly and didn't have I/O plate. It was also DOA.

I was considering getting this open box but of course when I decided to jump on it ....OOS it went. Kind of glad as I got a refurb Abit IP35-Pro from ebay for $84 shipped.

I saw the refurb units and figured that I was safer getting open box for $57. Only time will tell...

I received this today. Have to say, I love Mwave. Everything i've ever bought "refurbished", has come as if it's new.

The box was open on this one, however:

1) motherboard was still sealed. Opened it and it seems like it was brand new. Smells new.
2) all the goodies were in the box. all cables, manuals, backplate, accessories, and little pieces of random papers describing things i could care less about.
3) only thing i can see which was "off" was that one of the 2 sata cables was not in its plastic bag. TERRIBLE!
4) oh, and box appeared brand-spankin' new too.
