I'm looking to have the fan facing the front of the case, blowing towards the back (basically airflow parallel to graphics card). I'm not sure about the Northbridge though (or is it southbridge?).

Anybody else have this setup?

I know that the Arctic freezer 7 doesn't fit, but this HSF looks a little smaller. Yes you were right, that is the northbridge heatsink.

The NV120 is bigger than the Freezer but it will probably clear the northbridge. Look at it on this Gigabyte board:

Can anyone else comment? That looks pretty close; and it looks like the northbridge comes up higher on the IP35-e than this GB mobo.

It definitely won't fit if the NV120 is bigger. I've seen the AF7 on an ip35-e and it wasn't pretty. The person had to shave off some of the heatsink to get it to fit (which I think would be a terrible idea) I was thinking of putting a zalman 9500 on the ip35-e that I'll be getting.
