IP35-E and high PCI-E bus speeds (115Mhz)

I have a friend with an IP35-E, and as a test (for a different friend), we increased the PCI-E bus to 115Mhz. The 9600GSO didn't seem to be affected, but then I was wondering about the Jmicron IDE controller. He is using an IDE HD and IDE DVD burner, connected to the Jmicron controller. As far as I know, that Jmicron controller is connected to the PCI-E bus internally on the mobo. Am I asking for trouble?

He's been playing Warhammer online for a month now, without issues. So I'm guessing that so far, testing has shown that it's safe.

i wouldn't recommended, some people do that to OC their card, but I don't think you get too much benefit doing that.
