They just officially called IOWA for Bush today. ABCNews Reports.
I want to thank all the many many many volunteers and supporters I met during this election. Even when things weren't looking good here in Iowa for Bush - we all stuck to the task at hand and worked as hard as we could. It showed at the polls.
However the task at hand isn't done here in Iowa. We had a shift in the state legislative positions, so we need people to contact their elected officials and tell them to not make any rash decisions on running a split state senate. Any decisions should include Major Chuck Larson - who is currently over in Iraq on active duty and should return back home in February.
<--- Extremely happy about Iowa becoming red on the map for the first time since Ronald Reagan was re-elected!

I would like to thank the evangelicals and the Dutch in Northwest Iowa for showing the world that hot man on man love and a woman's choice is way more detrimental to the fate of this nation than poverty, unjust wars with the killings of innocents, and tolerance. You have shown us that no matter how bad things get for us, that the fear of going to hell outweighs everything. I would especially like to send out a shout out to Sioux County where you even though you came out in droves to get rid of that sausage loving judge, you still didn't get rid of him. No go back and make your clogs while sh!t hits the fans over the next four years.
On the other hand, here in BlackHawk where I worked my ass off for the past 6 months, we told Bush to shove it, while gaining seats in the Iowa legislature. We got our minority districts to vote like mad, and they voted for change, because thier schools our suffocating under NCLB, their social programs are dieing left and right, and the economy up here keeps getting worse and worse. At least they voted on issues that mattered.
I'm sure the people of ACT love you for spreading your FUD and hate. congrats.
Next time try working FOR a candidate - not some outside freak group.

The freak group I worked for was a group that tried to get people to vote, while you worked for one that tried to suppress it. Your group expressed outrage of how easy it was to vote absentee in this state. TOO EASY?!!! Yea, because voting should be hard, real hard. Then you have folks impersonating us because you got our absentee lists, and you went around telling folks not to send in thier votes, to make sure and print their signature, and then to not seal thier affidavit envelopes. Then 5 of your little geniuses filed lawsuit a week before the election making impossible to vote if you go out of your precinct. Because voting should be HARD.
And as far as those people who voted for you candidate. They didn't vote for your candidate. They voted for thier Church. Unlike you Cad, I've seen the worst of this state this summer because my people don't live in nice white neighborhoods with white fences and white Walmarts. I've been in places where the only prescriptions folks can get are the ones off the street becuase they can't afford them. I've been to towns and seen racial profiling up front and personal more times than I can count. And most of those people couldn't stand YOUR candidate, but they would vote for him because they feared hell if they didn't. So they voted for fear and hate. They told a woman who gets molested and raped tough sh!t. They told the loving female and male couples in the country tough sh!t. I'm not spreading hate. I'm pissed, that's what. It's not that we lost because of real issues that affect everyone. It's that we lost because of fearmongering and lies.

Well sure -believe what you wish - but I don't ever want to hear you accuse someone of being brain-washed because the freak group you worked for (ACT - which is a rather silly name for a group with such a divisive agenda) did a number on you.
No, there was no suppression of votes - it's just a wild accusation thrown out there to stir up certain voting sectors by the left.
Right - I'd like to see your proof that the Bush/Cheney 04 Inc people were impersonating you guys. Then
IF you provide said proof - I'll turn you onto a little something we found out about your little group along the same lines - not to mention the election day antics of you fringe group.
Yes, you MUST vote in your precinct. How freaking hard is it to do that? If you wanted to vote - you had every opportunity to do so this election. Either by absentee, early voting sites,
OR showing up to vote at the right freaking place. There is no reason to allow some moron to vote at the wrong place because they might not be voting for the right state races or local referendums and what not. Also - there is no way to track people like you who would drive around all day and vote in as many precincts as you could.
Yes pianoman - I understand your rage. You now feel you wasted your summer because Bush won and are now getting pissy about it. We'll pause for a moment while I get you a tissue...

All better now?
Oh, and btw - did you work the south-side of Des Moines? Did you work the inner-city of Des Moines? Yeah - and you try to lecture me about what you've seen...
Give it a rest - your boy lost. You worked for a fringe group who people saw right through - and now you're pissed. Well, like I said - next time try working for something, instead trying the hate route with ACT.
****
Bow - you are a riot

Blue state

Good luck with that one...maybe someday it'll happen but not until the Democrats rework their agenda so they become mainstream again(ie drop the loony left crowd).
