iOS4 Playlist Sync Issue

Since upgrading to iOS4, whenever I create a playlist on my iTouch, when I connect it to my computer I lose the playlist. It doesn't just get renamed like the old On The Go's used to, it totally disappears and I am stuck making the playlist again. I have my settings set to manually manage music, not sure if this has anything to do with it, but I would just like to know why it disappears and if there is a way to stop it.

It might be the manual setting. Try disabling that and see if it works.

Also, just a nitpick, but it is iPodTouch. Just look at the back if you are ever confused. 🙂

But if I disable the manually manage music it's gonna royally eff the way I have things set up on my iPod haha. And i actually considering changing that, because I never call it that, but opted to be lazy in the end. You're right, iTouch sounds like you're talking about the Divinyls 😀

Then I don't know what to tell you. I sync my iPhone with my desktop, and I am at work, so I can run any tests for you, so I leave it to you to decide if getting this to work is worth turning off Manual Management for a minute.
