I tried to just move the cheap HD in my girlfriends system to my old case with the K6 3/400, but it gave me trouble. So I saved the files I needed, and done F disk ...deleting, and repartitioning the lil critter, and then rebooting to format C:\. OK so far ...I load Windows 95 from the cabs I have installed on the SCSI that I have for backup. When all is loaded , and it comes time to boot into Windose for the FIRST TIME ...I get a 'windows protection error' ...something to do with the IOS. Any idea what is going on.
