iOS 8.4 Apple Music fails my first test: Just play something!

After a week of this new app....I hate this. It's made my use scenarios harder, and not even given me anything I want in return.

The BEST thing yet: listen to Apple Music at home on PC. Add song to my collection.

Go to phone next day, look for song....not there. They don't sync the "add to my collection" stuff between devices. Apple: we don't want to be your beta testers or your usability subjects.

Edit: I also *HATE* the new way of switching between Song/Artist mode. I just want a "shuffle my collection" button now. No, wait...I want 8.4 to go the hell away.

Edit2: OH GOD, I see what happened. I added it to my collection - OK. So it IS in my collection. But not available offline. By default, show only music offline is selected....so my music was hidden.

Apple: I ADDED IT TO MY COLLECTION. AUTO DOWNLOAD IT.

Ugh. This mess.

Just updated last night and now I need to find a replacement. The music app has slowly evolved from a way to easily listen to my music into a way to more easily purchase songs from apple or share my tastes to coerce friends into purchasing. Unfortunately for me, I enjoy listening to music more than spending my $$$.

Try an app called Groove. It's fantastic. Also, Denon Music Player is great too. Only problem for me is you can't sort by Album Artist.

OK, so new optimization:

Go to settings, general, restrictions. Enable restrictions, restrict Apple Music Connect.

Go back to music...connect button is gone, playlists button is back (and so is my "recently added" playlist.)

A person could go wild getting all this free music during the free 3 month trial of Apple Music which ends in September. True you'll be auto charged the monthly fee starting in September but what do you guys think about the cancelling auto charge option in Apple Music I've been reading about for those of us who will go with another music service? Apparently you can stop the auto charge to your credit card before the free trial ends. Again this if you plan on dropping Apple Music after the free trial.

I want a tweak that takes me straight to Now Playing when I start a song and that pushes the album art down away from the status bar. I also want a larger Now Playing bar so that it's easier to hit. I also want tracks added to Up Next while shuffling the entire library to go into the playback history so that you can skip back and forward through them. Double-tapping or long-pressing the album art should do something, and I would like faster/more intuitive access to the rest of an album when the track comes up in shuffled library playback.

It's not like you get to keep anything when the trial is over, so who cares unless you were truly interested in paying in the first place? Our complaints are more about the new Apple Music app as a replacement for the old Music app, since not everyone cares about the streaming service and we didn't exactly ask for this.

Do NOT turn on iCloud Music Library! It's made duplicates of my songs and attributed them to the wrong artists. Turning it off doesn't delete the duplicates. I tried to play a Prince song and got Tool instead. :\ Also for some reason it matched some of my songs to White Zombie. I don't even have anything by White Zombie.

A good prank to play on mom, not so good for me.

Actually, it didn't duplicated the songs, it just renamed them. So I have to go through and listen to hundreds of songs and rename all of them. D:

Some of them I'l just delete and download again but some I can't.
