Running (2) scuzzies hd, (1) ide hd, cdrom and burner. I installed this zip drive as sec/slave ide and bios see it ok..but I have to remove the cable and power/plug to get windows to boot-up.
With it connected (as above), the bios see it on bootup as well as the scuzzies and i get the w2k/w98 dual boot screen as normal, i select w2k or w98 and get a long wait with a black screen then it showes "Disk I/O error: 00000000000" and doesn't go anywhere. Again, I plug the cables off and all is well....I have also checked the boot sequence in bios and only have floppie,scsi and hd-0 and boot devices.
Any ideas ??
