Iomega ZIP Cable

Many of you have ZIP drives. I have an older ZIP 100 that works great. Only problem is that the cable that came with it is too short. It requires that I keep the ZIP drive on top of my tower which is under my desk. Changing disks is difficult. I was told that this is a special cable. Is it? Will a standard Parallel cable work?

I think they have changed over time, but no, I doubt it is a standard cable. You can probably find the pin out somewhere on the net. You can find it yourself with a meter. Your best bet is to search for zip drive parallel cables. You should find some extended ones.
