So today i was traveling along one of the busy roads here in town and this asshole in a civic and fart cannon pulls out of a side street and clips this guy on a bike. I say asshole cause the bastard without even thinking peeled out and took off. I pull off on a side street (im in front of him) to call the cops, and the guy turns behind me. I think hes trying to turns around and go see if the guy is ohkay. I watch him go up to the stop sign a block up and he starts going the direction back to the scene, but then starts going the other way. I 'm thinking oh **** hes running, so i peel the dak out after him, and once he hears this he takes off. After a mile of weaving through sidestreets going about 50-60 and neighborhoods while talking to the police trying to catch up close enough to this guy to read his plate, i give up as talking to the police, focusing on neighborhood, and keeping the dak going is tough, i turn around to go check on the guy on the bike, its just a homeless crazy dood that wants no help anyways. Amazing thing was Tucson 911 was awesome....they put me through to dispatch who put me through to a cop directly and even were asking if i could keep up with him and is he running lights and stuff. And what really impressed me was the daks performance, going around turns, picking back up the throttle, it kept up with the punk surprizingly well, unfortunately he got away, although i pulled off on a side street and there was this punk kid walking away from a car that looked a LOT like the one i was following. i asked him if he saw anything and he said no...

Even though you were trying to do something really nice, it might not have been the best idea.

the best way to make sure someone doesn't go away from an unsafe situation is to create a new tremendously unsafe situation of your own by driving a pickup truck at more than double the limit on the same streets where kids play ball, all while while talking on a cell-phone.

Not everyone drives a Chevy 2500 HD with a 496 C.I. Engine, pushing over 405 HP (with the "Tune"), like me :)

Of course, 9.5 MPG kinda sux, but D**n, few vehicles on the road can Pwn. me!
