Invision vs phpbb?

I've been trying out invision a little and really like it. I was just wondering what phpbb offers that invsion doesnt? Any opinions appreciated

I like PHPBB but Invisionboard is good too.

My forum uses PHPBB although I have dabbled with Invisionboard and Ikonboard.

Personally, from an IIS standpoint, I was using Ikonboard and it's a pain in the @$$ to setup. Then I found phpBB - it's AMAZING how easy it is to install & configure with SQL, and how fast it runs! I haven't heard of Invision until this post.....

We used phpBB when we first started and once we hit 100,000 posts and some decent traffic the board's performance dropped drastically. We switched to Invision and ever since its been fantastic. 400,000 posts and counting with almost no complaints.

...and no, the host wasn't the problem as we've used Dixiesys the whole time.

I don't have experience with admining a bb, but from a client user point of view, I like fusetalk the best and hate vbulletin.
I can not speak for any other aspect

Invision, I left PhpBB software once I realized just how good Matt at Invision's coding was.
